Scientific Advisory Board Accreditation Council for Medical Affairs

Our Scientific Advisory Board is comprised of a multidisciplinary and nationally recognized group of experts in a variety of functional areas within the pharmaceutical industry.

The purpose of the ACMA scientific board is to:

  • Strengthen the interface between science, the pharmaceutical industry and public policy.
  • Establish an operating standard of excellence within medical affairs.
  • Publish empirical scientific evidence and knowledge focused on furthering the field of medical affairs both in the United States and Internationally.
  • Become the leading think tank for issues within medical affairs and related functions within the pharmaceutical industry.

Jane Chin, PhD

Chair, Scientific Advisory Board
Jane Chin is founder of Medical Science Liaison Institute, which advocates for the advancement of medical science liaison professionals in the life science industry. Chin has been recognized for her thought leadership, high degree of integrity, and authentic concern for the best interests of MSLs and the long-term sustainability of the MSL profession. For her contribution to the support and evolution of the MSL Profession, Dr. Chin was nominated by PharmaVoice as one of Life Science Industry’s Most Inspiring 100 People in 2006. Dr. Chin holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Cornell University and a Doctorate in Biochemistry from University of Buffalo at Roswell Park Cancer Institute. She holds a Professional Certification in Competitive Intelligence from the Fuld-Gilad-Herring Academy of Competitive Intelligence.

We are currently seeking thought leaders and subject matter experts in a variety of areas that are both within medical affairs and those that relate to medical affairs. Specifically we are seeking individuals that have experience in the following:

Eligibility Criteria

  • Currently employed with strong track record of significant accomplishments within the pharmaceutical/biotech industry.
  • Should hold doctorate degree (MD, JD, PharmD, PhD, DO)
